Brittany K. Sandmire is the Office Assistant at Koritzinsky & Karls, LLC, and the friendly voice you hear when you call. Brittany has been with the firm since September 2014, and came to Koritzinsky & Karls after graduating from college.
As the Office Assistant, Brittany directs incoming phone calls to the appropriate attorney or to our legal assistant, takes phone messages, collects client/debtor payments, prepares eviction and collection files, and attends to any other needs that arise in the office each day. She plays a critical role in reviewing collection files, doing employment verifications, and preparing court forms.
She graduated from Madison College in 2014 with an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, as well as an International Certificate. As part of her paralegal training at Madison College, she completed a 5- month internship at a small law office in Sun Prairie that specialized in family law and bankruptcy. Brittany worked closely with their legal assistant when preparing family law documents and kept in contact with clients. Brittany’s internship helped prepare her for day-to-day office operations at Koritzinsky & Karls.
Brittany’s favorite thing about working at Koritzinsky & Karls is that every day is different. She never knows what to expect when she walks in each morning, and really enjoys the variety. Another of her favorite things about Koritzinsky & Karls is the small office environment. It allows everyone at the firm to work closely with each other.
When she is not at work, Brittany enjoys reading, volunteering with Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, watching sports, and playing volleyball.
