Eve Dennison Pollock is a 1999 graduate of the University of the Wisconsin Law School, and previously earned her undergraduate degree in history and anthropology from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Eve’s current practice consists of Guardian ad Litem work, family law, guardianships, terminations of parental rights/adoptions, and probate matters.

A Guardian ad Litem is appointed to represent the best interests of children, as well as adults who are experiencing incapacity. Eve has been appointed by the courts as a Guardian ad Litem in all areas, including child abuse and neglect matters, paternities, divorces, probate matters, terminations of parental rights, and criminal cases. Eve has served on the Dane County Guardian ad Litem Project since 2005, taking cases in minor and adult guardianships, juvenile court matters, and paternity actions. She currently serves as the GAL Project liaison, managing relations between the contract GALs, the judges, and the wider court system in Dane County. Eve served on the board of the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Children & the Law Section from 2012 until 2015, and is currently a member of the Family Law and Children & the Law Sections. She has presented at many conferences and seminars on various topics such as Guardian ad Litem training and best practices, domestic violence, and ethics. She has been a co-editor of the chapter on guardianships in the State Bar Attorney Desk Reference since 2017.

Eve feels privileged to have spent so many years working with children and families as they navigate difficult periods in their lives. She strives to leave families in a better place with tools to navigate their futures, but she believes the best interest of children are first and foremost in all proceedings.

When she is not working, Eve enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, weight training, reading, and being out in nature.
